Can You Really Buy a Corgi for 800 Yuan?

It's highly unlikely you'll find a reputable Corgi for just 800 Yuan. What you might find at that price is likely a mixed-breed dog or one with underlying health issues. Typically, a Corgi of average quality costs between 2,500 and 3,500 Yuan. For Corgis with excellent characteristics and a pure pedigree, prices will be considerably higher.

We strongly advise against purchasing a Corgi priced at 800 Yuan. The risk of it being a mixed-breed or having health problems is significant. Currently, the average price for a standard Corgi with a typical pedigree ranges from 2,500 to 3,500 Yuan. A purebred Corgi with a pedigree certificate but only average features can cost around 5,000 Yuan. Those with excellent features typically sell for 8,000 Yuan or more. Show-quality Corgis are priced at no less than 10,000 Yuan. It's always better to buy from reputable pet stores, even if it means spending more, to avoid being scammed.

Corgis are characterized by their short legs, typically not exceeding 10 cm in purebred examples. They usually have black eyes, with black coloration around the eye area. Their eyes are clear, with a distinct contrast between the whites and pupils, giving them an adorable, innocent look. The ears should gradually taper to a rounded point, resembling an equilateral triangle, and a straight line can be drawn from the tip of the nose, through the eye, to the ear tip. Corgis often have docked or very short tails. Undocked tails hang naturally, in line with the back, without curling over. When active, the tail is held up parallel to the back; when resting, it droops down.
