The term "seal bicolor" refers to a specific color pattern in Ragdoll cats. It indicates that the cat's fur has a color resembling that of a seal – a deep, rich brown, almost blackish hue, which will gradually darken as the cat matures. Besides seal bicolor, there's also the blue bicolor Ragdoll, which features a blue color with a bicolor pattern and may also have lynx markings.

The seal bicolor is just one color variation within Ragdoll cats. Typically, it comes in two forms: seal bicolor and blue bicolor. A seal bicolor Ragdoll exhibits fur similar to seal coloration, which includes deep brown shades, and may also have the lynx pattern referred to as a "seal lynx bicolor". Seal color is typically quite dark, resembling a deep brown, and will deepen over time, potentially becoming almost black-brown. Conversely, a blue bicolor Ragdoll has a blue color with a bicolor pattern; a blue lynx bicolor has a blue color with bicolor and lynx markings. The blue coloration is usually lighter than the seal.
Common Ragdoll Cat Colors
Ragdoll cats come in several distinct color patterns, each with its own unique charm:
1. Pointed: The pointed pattern features darker coloration on the face, ears, tail, and paws, while the body is lighter, typically a creamy white. They have captivating blue eyes.
2. Bicolor: Bicolor Ragdolls, more precisely, are pointed cats with added white. They sport a cute inverted 'V' on their face, with white covering the chest, abdomen, and legs. The back and tail tend to have darker coloration.
3. Mitted: The mitted pattern is distinguished by the darker face, ears, and tail, while the chin and paws are white, making it look as though the cat is wearing white mittens.
4. Van: Van Ragdolls are characterized by a predominantly white body, with only some color visible on the ears and tail.
5. High Mitted Bicolor: These cats have a larger white facial blaze in a V-shape, more white on the back, and are predominantly white overall.
6. High White Mitted: Resembling the bicolor, this pattern has more white on the paws, extending up the legs. The face is pointed, and the back and ears are darker colored.
