Understanding the C-Level Lamb Cut Drawing
1. To begin, outline the basic side profile of the dog's body. Areas such as the paws and the region from the outer corner of the eye to the top of the ear will be shaved. Starting from the base of the tail, draw a line sloping at 30 degrees, and then draw a vertical line down. Divide this into three equal sections. The first mark denotes the hip, the second the knee joint. Draw an upward 45-degree line from the second point, and repeat this from the third. Connect the first point to the horizontal line with a curve, and round the paw at a 45-degree angle. After rounding off the lower abdomen at a 30-degree angle, the lines for the hind legs are complete.
2. The chest should appear full and round, without excessive hair. The width of the hair on the front legs should be similar to the width of the paws, rounding off at the paws. Note that the front legs should be straight, while the hind legs extend backwards and upward. Determine the height of the crown, measured from the jaw to the top of the head. The crown should follow the back of the skull, run parallel to the neckline, and reach the middle of the body, which is one-third of the backline. The lines should be smooth.
